Question list · The visit

What do I ask at the visit?

You do not have to arrive with all the right words. Bring a short list, and ask for plain answers.

What can I bring to the visit?

Note the help you are seeking, the things you have already tried and the changes you hope to see.

List your current medicines and supplements, any past reactions and the health concerns you have now.

Bring the exact wording of the offer. It is easier to discuss a named product than a broad treatment label.

What should the assessment cover?

As of September 28, 2026, Ohio allows a first online visit by a live call or by sending information for a clinician to review later.

For example, you might fill in a health form or send messages, and the clinician reads them and responds later.

Either way, the visit must meet the same care requirements as a first visit in person.

The medical board’s rule requires the clinician to check your health, name the condition being treated and make a care plan before prescribing medicine.

It also calls for follow-up care or a recommendation for follow-up.

The visit may include a form. Ask how you can add information and speak to the clinician.

Which questions are worth taking?

Will I have to go in person?

As of September 28, 2026, Ohio allows a clinician to ask you to come in person instead of having an online visit.

If the clinician cannot give proper care online, the medical board’s rule requires an in-person visit or help finding someone who can.

Ask where an exam would happen and how that changes the quote before agreeing to a plan.
